The second round of the 1/10 and 1/8 Nitro Austrian National Championships took place this week at the Salzburg circuit. We had strong results from our MAV supported drivers!
In 1/10 Scale, Karel Krejcik qualified seventh, and finished sixth overall in the A Final.
In 1/8 Scale, Matej Cermak qualified an excellent fourth and his brother Simon in eighth. Radovan Konopik also bumped up to the A Final to give us three drivers in the race. Simon finished fourth overall after the thirty minute race, with Matej right behind in fifth and Radovan in sixth. This also meant Simon and Matej finished 1-2 in the Junior category!
A big congratulations to our drivers, and thank you for continuing to represent us in a great way!

Summer Masters Svitavy, Czech Republic four drivers from MAV Aigen-Schlägl participated in the Summer Masters from May 29th to 31st. In the 1/10 Nitro Scale series, Rajniš Adam took first place. Congratulations, Adam!
Unfortunately, our 1/8 Nitro drivers didn't have the luck to win, even at full speed. The guys had a bad crash in the last qualifying session. In the final, Simon lost a wing after just a few laps, Matej crashed but kept going. Then Simon also crashed because a screw came loose, just like Matej… but… Matej is the Czech Junior Champion. Congratulations, Matej!
Thanks also to Konopík Radovan for supporting the team and for his third-place finish 1/8 Nitro.

4 MAV-Aigen-Schlägl Driver 1/8 A-Final and 1 Driver 1/10 A-Final
1/8 Austrian Nationals in Sollenau Simon and Maty.
A tough but valuable weekend for us at the Austrian Nationals. We both had good pace during the event, but unfortunately the finals didn’t go completely our way.
I finished P8 after struggling with gearbox issues during the final. We changed the transmission, but the same problem appeared again later in the race.
Matej finished P9 after drivetrain damage forced us to replace gears during the race. Later on, contact on track resulted in a broken rear wheel.
Even with the problems, we kept fighting until the end and took a lot of experience from the weekend.
A big highlight for us was the Junior category, where we finished 1st and 2nd overall.
The MAV Aigen-Schlägl is proud of our "Speedboys" - thank you for your great achievements.
We are very proud that our MAV-Driver Christoph Rohrmoser completed the ENS season this weekend in Lentiai, Italy to finish third OVERALL in the 1/10 Scale Championship!
Christoph finished fifth place at the final race, which goes with fourth in Germany, third at our home race in Austria, and sixth in the Netherlands, to end up with a very well-deserved podium in the overall season points!
But - also showing he is fast off the track as well as on it, he also won the Engine Swap Challenge, being the fastest person to change an engine in a car throughout the whole year too!
A really great season, and we are always very pleased to support Christoph and his father at the races. Let's see what 2026 can bring!

The on-road electric Austrian National Championship series concluded in Amstetten.
At the end of the complete series, our MAV driver Simeon Seis finished up as DOUBLE JUNIOR CHAMPION in the Stock and 17.5 classes!
A great season for Simeon, adding this to his ETS Win at Aigen! We look forward to what comes next!!

The 2025 EFRA Championships for 1:10 Electric Touring Cars was held in Utrecht, Netherlands. Maty Knopp raced in the premier Modified class against the best drivers in Europe, and finished a brilliant 19th overall!
With this, he was also confirmed as JUNIOR EUROPEAN CHAMPION - it is his THIRD time to win this title! What an amazing achievement, and we are very pleased to support Maty as an MAV-driver!

This week was the third round of the Austrian National Championship for on-road Nitro, held in Graz.
In the 1:8 Scale A Final, we had three MAV drivers! Simon just missed out on the overall podium and finished up in fourth, Matej finished in seventh and Radovan took tenth overall. This meant that Simon and Matej were first and second in the junior classification!
